Joy Engineering was started in 2022 to serve distribution electric utilities, municipal/city utilities, and rural electric utilities with engineering services. Our goal is to provide excellent services and high-quality work to each utility and for every project. Thank you for considering us!
JARED SOSTROM, P.E.
Electrical Engineer - Owner
After graduating college in 2007, I worked as a System Engineer for Powder River Energy Corporation for 10 years. My primary duties were load studies, motor start analysis, system protection, long range planning, and various other duties.
I left engineering (for a time) to do full-time ministry. Ongoing, I have been helping small churches in the West and doing missionary work. I started Joy Engineering as a second job to support my family and continue in ministry work.
